A SALE! ROLL UP!

Hey folks, if you were on the fence about picking up the Tales of the Grotesque and Dungeonesque book, let me make you an offer you can still refuse. I've uploaded a revised version to Lulu that adds an index and fixes some typos that crept in; I've also lowered the price (all my proceeds go to local charities anyway) and you should put in coupon code SILVER for 20% off your order.  (The coupon expires on the 27th.)

Softcover (now priced at a svelte $11.99)

Hardcover (now priced at a reasonable $21.99)

Oh hey, also: if you've purchased or downloaded my humble supplement and enjoyed it, feel free to give it a star rating on Lulu or write a review.  Or feel free to pimp this sale on your blog, G+ circle, forum of choice, etc.  I feel like less of a shill if people are saying, "Yeah, this is a pretty fun compilation of stuff you can actually use."

It's still available as a free pdf, which has also been updated and given an index.  It's over there on the right.

Speaking of typos in 1.0, under the entry for Scarabae it says that there are "cuckolds riding on basilisks" there; that was supposed to read "kobolds riding on basilisks," but cuckolds riding on basilisks is so much cooler that I'm keeping it just the way it is.  Yes, that's right, in Scarabae basilisks will willingly team-up with men whose wives have given them horns to wear.  Why not?

  1. I think all cukolds should be forced to ride basilisks to increase their shame.

    1. And maybe even ride them side-saddle, like in REIGN.

  2. I have been looking for an excuse anyway.

Speaking of typos that stay around, Sword&Magic's version of "Feather fall" ("Tollhullás") got turned into "Falling trolls" ("Trollhullás") by some accident. Hence, there is a 10% probability the spell fails, and results in the appearance of 2d4 falling trolls.
