Vomit of worms? Ewwww. That oughta keep people out.
ReplyDeleteOf course, you could also have a variant with wings made of guns like in the ridiculous Expendables logo.
I had to google the Expendables; must have been napping during the cultural moment, as I so often am!
DeleteYou were not missing anything to interrupt your nap over.
DeleteHeh, most "action movie" things aren't my thing anyhow.
DeleteThe Expendables:
ReplyDeleteThese variant ju-ju zombies are always encountered in groups. They appear as aged-action heroes who are just too tough to die. In fact, they have died, but Hollywood Movie Magic has somehow made them immortal--although they look very weathered and gristly from their former hardened and handsome appearances.
They have the same stats a ju-ju zombies with the following powers:
One liners--once per combat an expendable can speak a witty one liner as free action. Characters must make a saving throw or suffer a -1 morale penalty to all attacks, AC, and skill checks. If multiple expendables utter one liners, the effects are cumulative.
"I'll Be Back"--An expendable can only be destroyed by magic or magical weapons. If brought to zero hit points by mundane methods, an expendable will remain dormant for 1d6+1 rounds. After that time an expendable will reanimate with full hit points and attack the characters in a particularly awesome cinematic fashion.
That's...totally gameable, actually!
