DIY TORG

We played a lot of TORG in high school.  If you aren't familiar with it, here's the basic premise: earth has been invaded by a bunch of different "realities."  Each of these realities is a different genre, so there is generic fantasy reality invading Great Britain, a cyberpunk reality invading Japan, a pulp reality invading Egypt, etc.

Do you ever look wistfully at your shelves and shelves of games and think, "Man, I wish I could run some of these settings I've accumulated over the years?"

Why not run them all at once?

What if earth was invaded by the "realities" of the game settings you've got collecting dust?  Here's how I'd go about it:

  3. I'd move OtE to North Africa, 'cause (well) Interzone, and shift Spears of Dawn southward.

Otherwise, I'd say that's just about right.

    1. Arrrgh, yeah, that works better. I guess I always associate OtE with South America because of Burroughs being there after shooting his wife.

  7. Don't tell my players, but this:

Is essentially my current campaign map. They're playing LotFP adventures in Warhammer, following a plot that should lead them to Vornheim. The map I'm using right now is a little different incorporating a few more influences into each big zone - London is Scrap Princess' Sigil for example, whilst the countryside is kinda Pendragon, but it's basically this, Moorcock post apocalypsed up rather than Torg'd.

  10. I recall an Inspector Legrasse in the short story Call of Cthulhu. That works for me. The American South gets the Cthulhu Mythos.
