Monster Monday: Bird with the Crystal Plumage




Bird with the Crystal Plumage
These birds are an unholy fusion of a large hawk-like bird and a crystalline construct. Birds with the Crystal Plumage are filled with multicolored, luminescent liquids. When a Bird with the Crystal Plumage pecks a foe it injects its victim with the magical elixir contained within its body.

No. of Attacks: 1 (Attack Bonus +3)
Damage: 1d6 (beak)
Morale: 5
Special Abilities: Chaotic Injection – anyone hit by a the Bird's beak attack must make a successful Saving Throw vs. Poison or be injected with a liquid that has the effects of a random potion.

  1. It may not be exactly what Argento had in mind, but it's much more of a challenge for an adventuring party. Any more giallo-inspired monsters plannned?
