      Heh, never kept me up at night either, but there have been moments where I've thought "Wait, this game takes place in the future?"

      I think the Legend of Zelda series has a bizarre chronology as well?

      Fortunately Mario, like James Bond, manages to avoid thorny questions about continuity, and just keeps on keeping on.

      Probably, but I know absolutely nothing about Zelda. As far as I know it doesn't vampires.

    Lords of Shadow was mediocre, but I had forgotten about the bit where killing the bad guys would off their saintly counterparts in heaven. Would be a shame if something happened to the Saints of Krevborna...

      Those saints are already probably terrible people to begin with so I'm not sure who their counterparts would even be.
