  1. There's more Miss Fisher coming out?! I didn't even know that was a thing I could hope for! My personal favorite movie (well okay, previous favorite, now second-favorite thanks to Miss) is the new Christoper Nolan picture "Tenet" which looks like it might even top "Inception" for best fight scenes with weird physics happening during them.

In book world, Susanna Clarke's "Piranesi" is sounding pretty good to me right now.

    1. Yep, there was a kickstarter for a Miss Fisher movie, and I guess it's coming out this year! Hopefully it actually plays at theaters here and not just in Australia...

Piranesi interests me as well, but also I feel like a scrub for never actually reading Strange & Norrell.

    2. I would love to watch Phryne in theaters, although I'll settle for her making it onto a streaming service I can access.

I'm kind of the same about JS&MN, I haven't even managed to watch the series ... but honestly Pieranesi sounds more interesting to me on almost every level.

BTW, saw this list and thought of you: https://io9.gizmodo.com/heres-what-io9s-staff-is-personally-psyched-about-for-2-1841059897

    3. I would definitely like the chance to see Phyrne's beautiful face gigantic in stature on the big screen. That may be the closest I ever come to a religious experience.
